Those looking for a unique experience in Bali must stay in the Bambu Indah, which features individual accommodations in teak or bamboo homes. The teak homes were built more than 100 years ago by native Indonesians, and served as bridal homes for rich newlyweds. Today, they have been beautifully restored to provide guests with a perfect blend of antique and modern surroundings.  Grass roofs and porches offer privacy for those who stay in the homes – but the open layout means there could be a few unwanted guests (bugs!) from time to time. Each of the homes offers stunning views of the landscape, as well as surrounding gardens.
