Luzern, is a beautiful destination for anyone visiting the region. Not only a stopping point for tourists picking up the best in luxury Swiss-made watches – the town as much more to offer. The spectacular location, which features Lake Luzern and the Swiss Alps has activities for everyone including the Swiss Museum of Transport. The wooden Chapel Bridge is one of the city’s best-known landmarks, and dates back to the 14th century. I saw it all by spending a day in Luzern.

Before walking around the pretty city my day started at the transportation museum – a fun place for kids to discover history of train and take a look at a sweet collection of vintage cars.

Then, time for a break- afternoon tea at The Palace Hotel.

As a five-star hotel, the Luzern Palace combines luxury with stunning views of the Swiss Alps and beautiful waterway. Beautiful city sights were just a short walk away from the hotel, and being situated on Lake Luzern provided me with breathtaking views of the old world architecture and surrounding mountains.
