Travelers from around the world will be impressed by the five-star accommodations of the Grand Hyatt Singapore, which is ideally located next to Orchard road, the shopping mega-center of Singapore, and within walking distance to notable landmarks, such as art galleries and museums.

I was not disappointed by flavors found at StraitsKitchen – the restaurant specializes in presenting local dishes with a contemporary twist. Singapore is known for its street food like Hokkien prawn mee, Nasi goreng, Hainanese chicken rice, mixtures of Indian, Indonesian and Chinese local foods. There, I found street vendor foods from all of the different ethnic groups in Singapore.

Large, spacious rooms at the Grand Hyatt Singapore offer the utmost luxury for guests. Contemporary furnishings and lavish amenities make it a perfect place to unwind after a day exploring the city. Nice relaxing pool and outdoor waterfall in the middle of the hotel help fuel escape from the sounds of the busy city. All other amenities are that you would expect of other Grand Hyatt properties.

Finish the day off right by enjoying one of the 30 martini selections in the hotel’s chic, award-winning Mezza9 Martini Bar, which displays amazing views of the city and Scotts Road.
