The lush countryside of Nuwara Eliya, also known as tea country is complete with breathtaking landscape of tea plantations and rolling hills. Those who love tea will appreciate the beauty. Within the many tea plantations are tea collectors, who work hard at harvesting the leaves at just the right time. I found it lovely place for a day stroll with many trails through the tea fields.

The cool weather and beautiful greenery offers the perfect escape from warmer, more populated destinations within Sri Lanka. Watching tea collectors work hard at harvesting the leaves will give every tea drinker a sense of gratitude when they enjoy their next cup!
