The Jetwing group have a number of top accommodations in Sri Lanka and this one was one of my favorites. The stunning Jetwing Vil Uyana in Sigiriya blends rustic with modern for a truly luxurious getaway. Winner of Trip Advisor’s Certificate of Excellence in 2012, the Vil Uyana indulges guests in comfort and style in a variety of accommodations. Paddy dwellings provide a unique haven for guests when they want to escape – and while the décor is rustic, guests are pampered with private decks that overlook the gorgeous landscape, and some dwellings come with private pools.

Dining options at the Jetwing Vil Uyana in Sigiriya offer amazing views with a variety of cuisine. The Apsara is a fine dining experience, while the Sulang serves up casual cuisine – and don’t forget to stop by the Graffiti Bar for a nightcap before you head back to your room. Of course, no luxury getaway is complete without a wonderful spa treatment – Ayurveda treatments offer guests peaceful relaxation in an elegant setting.
